Curriculum
Information Technology
This pathway covers technology concepts and trends underlying current and future developments in information technology, and fundamental principles for the effective use of computer-based information systems. The courses explore the variation and future development of applications, system software, hardware, network and security. Special emphasis is placed on social and ethical issues pertaining to the web, e-commerce and distributed computing. Students study system analysis, programming and database creation using hands-on exercises along with learning about career opportunities in the fast growing field of technology.

An overview of computer hardware, software, networks, Internet, web applications, systems, security and troubleshooting. To be used as an introduction to the Network Administration program or to supplement another computer-related degree.
Introduction to OS and Security
Spring 2025
An introduction to computer systems administration including operating system installation, configuration and management and an overview of the security concepts necessary to protect those systems. Leads toward Google IT Support Professional Certificate completion.
Applied Mathematics I
Spring 2025
Fundamentals of basic arithmetic, calculator usage, simple equations, word problems, algebra, right triangles, charts and graphs.
