Agriculture
The agricultural industry offers a variety of career pathways for those interested in working with food production, plants, and animals. The seven major career pathways in agriculture are: agronomy, animal science, horticulture, marine science, agricultural economics, agroforestry, and food science.
This career cluster includes a diverse spectrum of occupations, ranging from farmer, rancher, and veterinarian to geologist, land conservationist, and florist. It also includes non-traditional agricultural occupations like wind energy, solar energy, and oil and gas production.

An introduction to the vast, complex business of agriculture, ways of doing of doing business, guides for success of a person in the agriculture business of farm machinery technology, and familiarizes the student with the preparation for agricultural production, business, and mechanics jobs.
Maps and Spatial Technology
Fall 2024
Course goals are threefold: 1) To help you to think spatially, analytically, and critically; 2) To help you become better problem solvers using maps; and 3) To teach you to use maps and spatial analysis to understand geographic programs.
